From 29 June to 21 July 111th edition of the Tour de France 2024
The race, valid as a test of the UCI World Tour 2024, will take place in 21 stages for a total of 3,492 km starting from Florence and arriving in Nice.
The route of the 111th edition was revealed at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. Starting in Florence, the first stage of 205 kilometers will end in Rimini with seven challenging climbs and a passage to San Marino. Then Cesenatico, Bologna, Piacenza, Turin and Pinerolo. The race will end with an individual time trial on the French Riviera.
Overall, over 600 kilometers will be run in Italy, from Piazzale Michelangelo, the heart of Florence, to Turin, the first capital of Italy, crossing Emilia-Romagna and the Via Emilia, the ancient consular road that crosses it from Rimini to Piacenza .
